IDF series refrigerated air dryers are capable of operation on 50 or 60 Hz power for use throughout the world where specific certifications aren't required. This series includes SMC's largest units with rated flows up to 2,295 SCFM (65 m³/min [ANR]).

IDF*B, Refrigerated Air Dryer, Size 370, Stan-L-l3

IDF refrigerated air dryer series, in compliance with the Montreal Protocol Regulations, uses refrigerants R134a and R407C to prevent any damage to the earth's ozone layer. (Medium size series use R22). Series IDF can accommodate an inlet temperature of 40°C. Corrosion resistance is improved by using a stainless steel, plate type heat exchanger.

IDF*E, Refrigerated Air Dryer, Size 1~75, Sta-L-m0

Series IDF*E refrigerated air dryers are suitable for use in aftercooled systems with compressors up to ~100 hp (depending on dew point desired).  These durable units have simple control systems and are easily serviced.

Series IDF refrigerated air dryers feature improved ambient (113°F/45°C) and inlet (149°F/65°C) air temperatures as well as improved flow ratings over standard models. With an improved auto drain and standard dust filter, these units will provide years of reliable service.

Series IDF*FS refrigerated air dryers are larger units with improved ambient (113°F/45°C) and inlet (140°F/60°C) air temperatures.  This energy saving design reduces the amount of heat exhausted by the dryer and can reduce power consumption during periods of reduced demand.
