Vacuum Measurement & Control

Vacuum measurement is used in a number of applications to monitor whether the pressure level is correct for the process. Based on the measurement, the vacuum pump, apparatus or process can be adjusted to maintain the desired pressure level.

When the vacuum level is particularly critical for an application, a digital controller or control package can be used to automatically regulate the pressure. Depending on the model, this is achieved by means of a solenoid valve, by turning the vacuum pump on or off, or by varying the motor speed.
