The LEY-X5 is designed for environments requiring high ingress protection. The actuator meets IP65 environmental ratings without requiring a separate enclosure for the AC servo motor and cables. Key design elements include a rod scraper and lube-retainer to maintain a consistent oil film while preventing debris from entering the body, and a built-in vent hole with a fitting to balance internal pressure, ensuring that water and dust are not sucked in during operation. It is available in body sizes 25 and 32, supporting horizontal work loads up to 60 kg and pushing forces up to 736 N.

HF2A-LEY Rod, AC Servo Motor

HF2A-LEY is a rod electric actuator with IP69K protection for dust, water, and high temperature. This specification is achieved with many unique features above the standard LEY. The AC servo motor is fully enclosed, with cables passing through sealed cable glands. A scraper prevents ingress while the rod is moving. Additional features suitable for the food manufacturing industry include 304 stainless steel external parts, NSF-H1 grade grease for lubrication, and smooth surfaces to minimize accumulation of residue. The scraper and static seals are blue for FDA compliance and made of EC1935/2004 compliant material. Optional motors offer an incremental or absolute encoder. Foot brackets or flange mounting are available. Available in body sizes 25, 32, and 63.

LE rods with AC servo motors are available as the LEY-X5 with IP65 equivalent for dust and drip proof protection, or the HF2A-LEY with IP69K equivalent for maximum ingress protection.
