PF2M7, IO-Link, 2-Color Display

PF2M7 is a digital flow sensor compatible with air, nitrogen, argon or carbon dioxide. PF2M7 refreshes the legacy PFM7 with several enhancements. The thermal sensor is protected in a bypass flow path to reduce contact with moisture and contaminants, avoiding accuracy deterioration and damage. Dimensions and weight have been reduced, especially beneficial when installed on moving tooling. Finally, current consumption has been reduced by 36%. The LCD 4-digit display can be red or green, changing when a set point is reached. Options include cable connector type, a manual flow adjustment valve, and panel or bracket mounts. Push to connect fittings or threaded ports align the fluid supply line in a straight configuration, or from the rear/bottom. Output options include two switch signals, one switch with an analog signal, or IO-Link. PF2M7 is IP40 rated, and meets RoHS and CE standards.

PF2MC, 2-Screen 3-Color Display

Series PF2MC digital flow switch provides continuous quantitative feedback as well as switched signal outputs when set flow levels are measured. The PF2MC is suitable for applications requiring a metered quantity of air, such as for spray painting, filling accumulation, or fixed supply consumption. Enhanced features differentiate the PF2MC from the closest releated SMC product, the PFMB. The PF2MC display has 2 screens and offers main screen characters in red or green, while the sub screen characters are white. The display can also be rotated in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, thereby offering better visibility during operation. The PF2MC also meets IP65 enclosure protection standards and is both RoHS and CE compliant.

PF2MC, 2-Screen 3-Color Display, IO-Link

Series PF2MC digital flow switch provides continuous quantitative feedback visually and over the signal cable. This version has 2 signal outputs. OUT1 is IO-Link compatible, or can provide a switch output when a set point is reached. OUT2 can be a second switch output, or a V or mA analog signal. The PF2MC is suitable for applications requiring a metered quantity of air, such as for spray painting, filling accumulation, or fixed supply consumption. Enhanced features differentiate the PF2MC from the closest related SMC product, the PFMB. The PF2MC display has 2 screens and offers main screen characters in red or green, while the sub screen characters are white. This display can also be rotated for visibility in various orientations, 90° CW or 225° CCW. PF2MC meets IP65 enclosure protection standards and is both RoHS and CE compliant.

PF3A, 2-Screen 3-Color Display

Series PF3A digital flow switch provides continuous quantitative values as well as switched digital outputs when set flow levels are measured. The PF3A is suitable for applications requiring a metered quantity of air, such as for supply confirmation, filling accumulation, or fixed supply consumption. The oversized PF3A display has 2 screens, with main screen flow values in red or green, while the sub screen settings are shown in orange. The display can be rotated in 90 degree increments, thereby offering better visibility during operation. PF3A7H, PF3A8H Modular Digital Flow Switch

The PF3A**H modular digital flow switches provide continuous quantitative values as well as switched digital outputs when set flow levels are measured. They are designed to directly couple to SMC's AC series of modular FRL components to provide convenient machine-level measurement of equipment needs. This modular connection also permits the removal of the switch without removing the piping. The PF3A has an IP65 ingress protection rating and is both CE and RoHS compliant.

Series PF3A digital flow sensor provides continuous quantitative values as well as switched digital outputs when set flow levels are measured. When paired with an IO-Link master, measured values, settings, and device information can be accessed at an HMI screen or fieldbus networked monitoring device. 32-bit of process data include 16 bits for the measured value, 2 output bits for set points, and 2 diagnostics bits. The PF3A is suitable for applications requiring a metered quantity of air, such as for supply confirmation, filling accumulation, or fixed supply consumption. Dimensions and weight have been reduced dramatically compared to the legacy PF2A. The 4-digit LED display can be red or green, changing when a set point is reached. Either instantaneous or accumulated flow can be shown. Options include cable connector type, and bracket mount. Two outputs are available, including two switch signals, or a switch and analog signal. PFMB is IP40 rated, and CE and RoHS compliant.
